3. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with:

4. FCRA & Consumer Data Disclosures

CaseForum is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). The court records displayed on CaseForum are sourced from public state portals and are not FCRA-compliant.

  • Data provenance. Case information is obtained from official state court portals (e.g., Minnesota Court Records Online, Wisconsin Circuit Court Access) and publicly available records.
  • Accuracy. CaseForum does not independently verify the accuracy of court records. Records may contain errors, and information may become outdated between sync cycles.
  • Consumer rights. Because CaseForum is not a CRA, there is no right to dispute information under the FCRA. To correct an error in a court record, contact the originating court directly.
  • Data retention. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Court records are retained in accordance with our archival policies. You may request deletion of your account and associated user-generated content at any time.
